The Falcons have started 4-0 just five times in their 50 year history, and you can add 2015 to the rolls after a stunning, glorious 48-21 blowout of the Houston Texans.

The Falcons' best start ever came in 2012, when they went 8-0 en route to a 13-3 finish and a berth in the NFC Conference Championship Game. If the 2015 Falcons manage to start 5-0, at minimum, they'll enjoy the second best start ever, because the Falcons have never been better than 4-0 outside of the 2012 season. Crazy, but true.
Considering the Falcons get a so-so Washington team at home in Week 5, it's not crazy to think they'll get there. In fact, with a relatively easy schedule, an improved defense, and an offense that seems to be rounding into shape, there are no games where you can really argue the Falcons should be huge underdogs. What a difference a year, a few personnel changes, and a new coaching staff make.
Congratulations to this team on the 4-0 start. May they keep it going.
