The Atlanta Falcons haven't exactly had a stellar passing game the last three weeks, but what they have had is one of the most consistent running backs in the NFL doing fantastic work on the ground. I refer, of course, to Devonta Freeman.
First time #Falcons have had a 100-yard rusher in 3 straight games since 2009, when "The Burner" Turner had 151, 166 and 111 in Weeks 8-10.

Freeman's keeping elite company here, considering Michael Turner is one of the three or four best backs in Falcons history, and certainly one of the most bruising. Freeman's got a ways to go before he can claim to be on the same level, but that's from a longevity standard, not one of performance. He's running with such excellent vision and agility that I have a hard time believing there's a defense out there that can totally stop him.
Kudos to Freeman, and may he run his streak to four games against Tampa Bay this coming weekend.
