Predict the Final Score for Falcons vs. Titans in Week 7

The 5-1 Atlanta Falcons take on the 1-4 Tennessee Titans, and we want to know your best score predictions.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

We were an optimistic lot coming into last Thursday's game against the Saints, but don't let that score you away from going with your gut here. The Falcons play the Titans on Sunday, and we're looking for your final score prediction, as always.

The Falcons are favored by just over a field goal in this one, which seems low to me considering the Titans have had a rough season and they'll be down their starting quarterback. That line may move as we get closer to Sunday, but clearly that loss to New Orleans has changed the way the team is viewed in Vegas. The good news is that the Falcons don't have to pay attention to that, and with the Panthers still undefeated atop the division, there's a ton of incentive to roll into Tennessee like a storm unleashed.

Personally, I'm going to be confident and predict a 31-20 Falcons win. The Titans could punish Atlanta with Dexter McCluster and Delanie Walker over the middle of the field, sure, but I expect Dan Quinn and company to have made some kinds of adjustments to the defense to prevent that from deciding the game, and while they have a solid defense, this Tennessee team just isn't good enough to hang with Alanta if they're on. That's especially true with Marcus Mariota and their starting center out of the picture for this week.
