The Falcons are inspiring a ton of love from media and fans after a hot 3-0 start, and while that's a wonderful and fresh experience, it does nothing for their chances of remaning undefeated another week. This beautiful team will have to do that heavy lifting themselves when they welcome the Texans to the Georgia Dome this Sunday.
On paper, this looks like the least challenging game for the Falcons thus far, though there are trouble spots that could turn this into an unexpected problem. The Texans simply don't have the quarterback play and secondary to get in a shootout with the Falcons, although they run the ball well and have a terrifying defensive line that could truly challenge the Falcons' offensive line. So long as Kyle Shanahan can gin up an effective passing plan and Ryan Mallett doesn't suddenly emerge as a terrific quarterback, though, I really like the Falcons at home in this one.
Here's the complete information for the game ahead. Let's hope these Falcons can go 4-0.
