Falcons vs Saints 2015: Who to Watch in the Dixie Championship

Who should you be watching against the zit on the face of the NFC South? Well, I'll tell ya'.

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Matt Ryan, Quarterback

Ryan uncharacteristically struggled last week versus a seriously banged up Redskins secondary, which you can read about here. With his game off, Julio limited, and starting center Mike Person on the sideline, Ryan will need to be at the top of his game against a Saints team that's desperate for a win. History shows that he's in for a big day.

James Stone, Center

Atlanta lost Mike Person to an ankle injury last week against the redskins, and will be out this week as well. Stone filled in for Person and played serviceable, but the snap of the ball is clearly off with him and Matt. James must correct his snap before going into the game, or it'll lead to just another worry for Ryan and the offense.

Vic Beasley, Edge Rusher

Beasley has been bringing pressure, but not getting home in terms of sacks these last couple of weeks. Saints' tackle Terron Armstead has been nursing knee injury, and his status going into tonight's game is unknown. Vic could get back on track with some sacks against a hobbled lineman after facing some of the league's best the first quarter of the season.

Who will you be keeping a close eye on during this southern showdown?
