The Atlanta Falcons are undefeated and would like to remain so. Their obstacle this week? The hated Saints.
New Orleans is not the team we all grew to loathe over the last decade or so, thanks to attrition on both sides of the ball and the slow but merciless aging of Drew Brees. They have the look and feel of a team headed for a major overhaul in the offseason, and yet they also have Brees, a strong ground game on paper, and some useful pieces on defense. They're not a pushover, especially on a short week in the Superdome.
The Falcons are fresh off yet another win, but one that saw them put together their weakest effort of the season, especially in the passing game. They'll need to continue to clamp down on defense and get it together on offense to run their record to 6-0, and they may be down Julio Jones. That makes it critical that they start fast and force some turnovers. Given the way the Saints have played this year, the comforting part is that a fast start and turnovers are a distinct possibility.
Here's everything you need to know to watch the game tomorrow night.
