Two NFL camps with current and former Falcons coming in June

It's never too early to sign up for a football camp, right?

A football camp can be an opportunity to relive your glory football days and rub elbows with NFL players, or at least live that out vicariously through your kids.

There are two camps in June you can get an (extremely early) jump on, featuring current and former Falcons players. I like to post these when we run across them because I know some really enjoy these opportunities.

The first is a quarterback camp with former University of Georgia and Falcons quarterback D.J. Shockley, who is still a beloved figure in Atlanta. Here's some details from the event:

Former Georgia Bulldog DJ Shockley and current Co-Host of Falcons Playbook on CW-69 will be running a football camp for Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, and Defensive Backs at Oglethorpe University from June 9-11, 2015.

Participants are grouped by age, position, ability, and experience to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group.

There'll be about six hours of instruction per day, so if you want to dominate your backyard football games before you twist your ankle horribly, this isn't a bad way to get your practice reps in.

The second camp will kick off just a couple of days later. Here's some more details:

The Harry Douglas and Sean Weatherspoon Football Camp will be June 11-14th at Oglethorpe University. The camp is for boys/girls ages 7-18 and they are all broken into groups by age, size, and skill level. Campers have the option to stay overnight in the dorms at Oglethorpe or commute in each day for camp! Do not miss out on this opportunity to learn from the best!

If any of you decide to go, enjoy!
