NFL Playoff Schedule 2015: Colts-Patriots, Packers-Seahawks set for the weekend

New, comments

The Conference Championships happen this Sunday. Gird your loins.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL playoffs roll on, with a pair of potentially classic matchups this Sunday.

The first will pair the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks, which pits one of the NFL's best offenses against arguably its most potent defense. The Seahawks are looking to repeat as Super Bowl champions, and the Packers are looking to reward Aaron Rodgers for being some sort of quarterback-playing space alien. Lot at stake there.

Meanwhile, the Colts will try to avenge three ugly losses in a row against the Patriots. In every game, New England simply beat the brakes off of Indy. This might be Tom Brady's last and best chance at hoisting a Lombardi Trophy, while Andrew Luck tries to cap off an impressive start to his younger career by winning it all. PLOT LINES!

My predictions? I had Packers/Broncos before the season, and I'm going to stick with Packers/horse-related team. Green Bay and Indianapolis in the Super Bowl.
