We apologize for being a day late here, but good news is good news, even if it's slightly stale.
The team has listed Corey Peters and Dezmen Southward as probable, which means both should have the opportunity to play against the Saints. Peters had a sack in two contests against the Saints a year ago and should get at least a few cracks at Drew Brees in this one, while Southward should be a strict reserve and special teamer.
The question on everyone's mind regards how many snaps we can expect to see Peters playing. My guess is that with the team's relatively cautious approach to injuries these days, plus their improved defensive line depth, you won't see him playing more than 20. Just a hunch, though.
The Saints, meanwhile, have listed safety Marcus Ball and fullback Erik Lorig as out. Wide receiver Kenny Stills, one of the league's better young deep threats, is listed as questionable.
Do you expect either of these Falcons to have an impact on tomorrow's game? Share your thoughts with us here.
