One Falcon To Watch In Week 4: Corey Peters

Corey Peters is under the radar, and that's just the way he likes it.

If there was one defensive player not named Desmond Trufant that deserved to make the Pro Bowl in 2013, look no further than fifth year defensive tackle Corey Peters.

Coming back from an Achilles injury that he suffered last year against San Francisco, Corey has found himself as the most promising defensive linemen on the depth chart once again.  Five sacks for a defensive tackle is extremely impressive, and even more so when your supporting cast is the 2013 Atlanta Falcons defense (no offense, guys).  With a sack already recorded this year, we could be seeing a major development in Peters' young career.

Today, Atlanta is facing the hobbling Minnesota Vikinkgs.  Adrian Peterson will not be playing due to his off-field issues, and Matt Cassel is one week removed from breaking his foot into a thousand pieces, so the Falcons' defensive line should be licking their chops.  Look for Corey Peters to be a major contributor in what should can be a comfortable win.

How high do you think Corey's ceiling can be this season?
