Falcons vs. Vikings 2014: Game time, TV schedule, prediction and odds

The Atlanta Falcons attempt to get to two games over .500 by beating the Minnesota Vikings on the road.

Kevin C. Cox

The 2-1 Atlanta Falcons face the 1-2 Minnesota Vikings away from the cozy confines of the Georgia Dome, with an opportunity to stay near the top of a competitive NFC with a win on Sunday.

A promising young Vikings' defense and Teddy Bridgewater's potential likely make this a challenge for the Falcons, but this is a winnable game for a team that was firing on all cylinders against arguably the worst team on their schedule last week. The Vikings don't have a strong ground game, they've only got a couple of above average receiving options and Chad Greenway may miss this one, putting a hole in the middle of the defense. If the Falcons come out playing well and can establish the passing game early, I think we're looking at 3-1.

Use this to discuss the game and gear up for the weekend ahead.
