There's been a lot of recent discussion about Devin Hester. And why not? He breaks records. He's a dynamic leader. His signing was one of the better personnel moves in the Dimitroff era. But there's something you may not know about Hester.
I know we've referenced it a few times, and maybe you glanced over it, or maybe you thought we were kidding. But we weren't. Devin Hester once raced a cheetah ... and won. Like a real cheetah. A real, flesh-eating cheetah. It's hard to believe, and even harder to picture. So do yourself a favor and watch the video. It's a can't miss.
Honestly it's hard to believe he actually won, and to be sure, these were controlled conditions. Hester knew he was running a race, and clearly the cheetah didn't. If Hester were the prey, he wouldn't stand a chance. Still, the simple fact that he hung with the cheetah is super impressive. It's a testament to his elite athleticism and speed.
Had you seen the video before? What are you thoughts?
