This is not what any of us wanted to hear just two days before the Buccaneers game.
Roddy (hamstring) not practicing today,

It's not clear what happened to Roddy White, but it appears he's dealing with a hamstring injury. Add that together with continued concerns about his knee—muted somewhat by the fact that he played the whole game against Cincinnati, exacerbated somewhat by the fact that he wasn't very effective in that game—and suddenly Roddy's looking like a possible game time decision. I had figured the injury would be fairly minor given that it didn't come up in the immediate aftermath of the game, but given that we're dealing with a hamstring issue, I should have known better.
It is possible the Falcons are simply giving Roddy a day of rest, but his injury woes this season means I'm not banking on that.
The rest of the team practiced on Tuesday, including rookie Jake Matthews, who hopes to return against the Buccaneers after missing most of Week 1 and all of Week 2. Julio Jones is also out there practicing, and while Paul Worrilow has a wrap on his arm per McClure, he's not on the injury report.
Jake, Julio, Prince on field for practice as expected. No Roddy
