Falcons vs. Bengals 2014: Game time, TV schedule, prediction and odds

A complete rundown of relevant information for the Week 2 game between the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals.

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Falcons will attempt to reach half of their 2013 win total tomorrow when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals,

Bottom line: This won't be an easy game. The Bengals have some unfortunate injuries to deal with, but they're at home and they're a tough football team. The Saints were a thrilling test of the Falcons' defense and resilience, even if they didn't mount much of a defensive challenge, while the Bengals should fare better against the offense but offer less of an all-encompassing challenge against the defense. The Falcons also may well be without Jake Matthews, and Gabe Carimi's fortunes at left tackle are still an open question.

The argument for a Falcons win, even though I'm not predicting one? That offense is insanely good, the defense only needs a couple of turnovers to keep this team in it and special teams remains a major strength. You simply can't dismiss their chances, which is a refreshing course change from a year ago.
