Roddy White was limited in practice yesterday, but he returned as a full participant today, which is good news for a Falcons passing attack that will need all its weapons against the Bengals on Sunday. The Jake Matthews news is less encouraging—and I still don't expect him to play—but we'll learn more tomorrow.
No Jake Matthews (ankle) at practice. Roddy (knee) on the field fully suited up for action

According to Jay Adams, that was a limited practice for Roddy today. Still not overly concerned.

Roddy briefly exited the game with his knee ailment on Sunday, but returned to the game and never seemed likely to miss Week 2 against the Bengals. It's a relief to know the injury was minor, even so.
Our own Jeanna Thomas caught up with White at practice today and had the opportunity to ask him a few questions.
On how he's feeling:
I'm feeling really good. It did kind of scare me, but after that my adrenaline started pumping and I got back in there and caught some passes. So I got back on Monday and it felt a little sore, but now I'm ready to go.
On whether injuries last year make him more cautious this season:
No, not really. I know I've just got to go out there and just play football and not worry about little things like my body getting hurt or things like that. So I really don't even think about it while I'm out there. You kind of really feel all those nicks and pains after the game when things are over, but I've been pretty consistent in just going out there and just playing fast, and that's just what I want to do.
On whether he's more cautious this season about recovery time, and he was emphatic in his response:
No. No. No, not really. I mean, me and Smitty, we're on a good program. He wants me to do certain things on Wednesday and go out there and run around and get a little bit done. And then Thursday just practice as hard as I can, and Friday just be as fast as I can and just go out there-because we have to do timing things. We have things in the game plan that we have to get done, and me and Matt have to be on the same page.
Great stuff. We'll hope to get more final news on Jake Matthews, who missed practice today, during tomorrow's final injury report. We'll also keep an eye out for news from the Bengals side as it becomes available.
