While I keep expected center James Stone to get cut and put on the practice squad, the Falcons claimed an unknown player on waivers and cut inside linebacker Tim Dobbins, according to his agent.
After claiming a player LB Tim Dobbins has been released by the @Atlanta_Falcons & is immediately a free agent who can sign with any team

Dobbins was a late add to the Falcons roster in the middle of June, with the veteran expected provide some depth to the position along with Pat Angerer. Dobbins looked particularly poor in preseason but was believed to have secured a roster spot thanks to his special teams play.
Now he is gone.
The mystery player the Falcons signed is likely an inside linebacker with a bit more potential than Dobbins.
Anyone have thoughts? I kind of like the mystery player over Dobbins.
