NFL Roster Cuts 2014: Falcons 53 Man Roster Prediction, Post-Cuts Edition

The Falcons just made a series of roster moves that brought them down to the 75 man limit, and there's nearly two dozen moves left to make in the next week. No pressure, though.

These projections are based on the preseason thus far, plus the Titans game. That's why I've made the changes I've made, which include taking Mickey Shuler off and placing him on the practice squad due to his concussion and the team's love of special teamers like Eric Weems, Lamar Holmes' placement in the starting lineup, Osi Umenyiora taking the starting job at OLB away from Kroy Biermann and the tweaks to the practice squad. The Osi over Kroy decision may raise a few eyebrows, but Biermann's recent struggles profoundly unsettles the position, and even Stansly Maponga could be in the running. All it will take is Biermann looking fully healthy for the team to install him as the stopgap starter, but it's no longer a definite that will happen.
