While the Falcons are being typically coy about whether Julio Jones and Roddy White will get into the game against the Houston Texans, Julio appears to think he's going to get his snaps.
...(Jones) does feel legs well rested after shortened season last year. Expects some preseason action this weekend.

This may answer that age old question of "when will Julio Jones play?" It would be fantastic to see Jones back on the field, wrecking opposing cornerbacks with all the grace and subtlety of a rhinoceros with a jetpack, Even if he does step back on, though, the Falcons are unlikely to give him more than a single drive on the field for now. The priority is getting the team's best players on the field for Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, and Mike Smith isn't going to take undue risks, particularly after last season.
Jones, of course, is returning from breaking a bone in his foot, which required a new screw. He's got custom-designed cleats and has been flying all over the field at practice, so there's no particular reason to fret about him at the moment. The Falcons will hope he can build on the monstrous campaign he managed in just five games in 2013, when he caught 41 passes for 580 yards and two touchdowns.
There's no word on White yet, though. Do you expect both to play?
