With so many legitimate camp battles ahead for these Atlanta Falcons, I thought it might be good to narrow our focus to the battles that will matter most in July and August.
As you might imagine, this is a relatively short list. I count
Note that there are a few positions on this list that would not be locks if the Falcons signed someone, tight end being the most obvious example.
As you might imagine, this is a relatively short list. You have known starters at a few key positions, special teamers with no competition and a couple of players who have no real competition whatsoever, for a total of 11 of 22 starters accounted for. I'll grant that I'm being overly cautious with this list, because players like Steven Jackson have clear edges in their pursuit of starting jobs, because the competition is inexperienced and/or weak. I'm just not ready to hand them jobs just yet. Ditto Sam Baker and Jake Matthews, who will obviously be starting but may switch sides if Matthews has a terrific offseason.
Without further ado, the list.

If you think there are other locks on this roster, list 'em below. Let's get the discussion rolling.
