Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is active off the field, consistently focusing his energy on benefiting his community in various ways. His Spoonful of Hope foundation provides for families in need in various ways, from purchasing school supplies, to providing ingredients for a nice Thanksgiving meal, to addressing literacy concerns in at-risk student communities. Weatherspoon will also benefit area youth by offering a football clinic this week.

Spoon's football clinic will be held at Gary Pirkle Park in Sugar Hill, Georgia, on Friday, June 6th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, June 7th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost for children who pre-register is $50, and the cost to register on the day of the clinic is $75.  The clinic will teach football fundamentals to children ages 8 through 15. If you are interested in registering your child, you can do so online at SeanWeatherspoon.org.

For more information on Spoon's other off-the-field efforts, visit his website. You can also make a donation to Spoon's foundation or sign up as a volunteer.
