If you were concerned about Atlanta's depth at wide receiver, I have nothing but bad news for you. The Falcons just signed a 31 year-old with 332 career receiving yards and did not play football in 2013.
Falcons to sign WR Courtney Roby, source says.

If that name sounds sort of familiar, it is because Roby was a New Orlean Saint for five seasons before getting dumped last August.
The former 3rd round pick out of Indiana has only 25 catches since being drafted in 2005. While Roby doesn't provide a whole lot in the pass catching department, he very well may earn a roster spot based on his great speed and special teams abilities. Wide receivers have not really "broken out" on the wrong side of 30 after failing to produce with Drew Brees at quarterback.
With the addition of Devin Hester, Roby will likely be limited to gunner on special teams and be at the bottom of Atlanta's wide receiver depth chart, if he makes the roster at all.
Do you like the signing?
