The Falcons permitted the media to observe OTAs today, so we can actually get an idea of what's going on with the Falcons.
There's some really great stuff in this breakdown from D. Orlando Ledbetter of the AJC. Genuinely. Sounds like Devonta Freeman took first team snaps, and it also sounds like Steven Jackson was not thrilled about it. Also, Josh Wilson is taking first team snaps at nickel.

Antone Smith is trying on an expanded role this offseason, so that's something to keep an eye on in minicamp and training camp.
One quick note from OTAs: Mike Smith says Antone Smith's role has expanded this offseason. Should make many of you happy. #RiseUp

Julio Jones, Sean Weatherspoon, and Corey Peters all spent practice working with trainers.
Matt Ryan is apparently throwing some balls to Julio, which is good for their timing.
Matt Ryan said he's thrown some balls to Julio Jones when Jones does his hand drill work.

As Dave noted earlier, Roddy White was back with the team today. He will not speak to the media today, but he does seem to be in classic Roddy form.
Funny moment from today - Roddy throws back to Matt Ryan today (like 40 yds) during a drill and said to me "Bro you see me dropping dimes?"

Matt Ryan also had some praise for Devin Hester.
Ryan said Devin Hester has a huge skill set with great vision.

Robbie Rosenhaus from Atlanta's 92.9 the Game had some good observations on Robert Alford, Paul Worrilow and Dwight Lowery.
Robert Alford really looked good in coverage today. Didn't have a pass completed on him from what I saw. Even had a pass breakup.

Few observations from Falcons camp today - Worrilow STUFFED Freeman in the hole on last play of day drawing praise from players and coaches
— Robbie Rosenhaus (@robbierosenhaus) June 10, 2014
Few tipped balls for INT today - Dwight Lowery, fighting for a starting safety spot, made an acrobatic play to snag one over the middle

Rosenhaus said that Jake Matthews didn't have the best day, but he is a rookie. The speed of the pro game is a big adjustment.
Matthews struggled just a bit in pass protection today but in red zone drills the offense excelled going 2/2 with TD's

We'll have more updates as they become available. Discuss OTAs in the comments!
