Falcons Will Have Over $80,000 In Signing Bonuses For UDFAs

There's a limit this year, and the Falcons will have to spend it wisely.

The Falcons have traditionally found real success with undrafted free agents, ranging from last year's surprises Joplo Bartu and Paul Worrilow to the great Brent Grimes. They hope to strike gold with one or two players every year, and while that's not realistic, it's something to strive for.

This year, every NFL team will have a spending limit of $80,362 in signing bonuses for their incoming UDFA classes, per Pro Football Talk. NFL teams rely on a mixture of that money and the allure of playing time and the team's particular culture to woo UDFAs, and they have to make a relatively paltry amount of money go a long way.

If you have a handful of UDFA types you'll be watching closely, share them with us in the comments.
