2014 Atlanta Falcons Reader Depth Chart Projections: Quarterback Edition

We're going to project quarterback, as a position, for the 2014 Atlanta Falcons.

Kevin C. Cox

With the roster far from settled, we still have a fairly clear idea of who will be starting at the majority of positions on this Atlanta Falcons team. With that in mind, it's time to begin our annual projection series in earnest.

We begin with that most important of positions, quarterback. The Falcons have Matt Ryan, a top ten quarterback, and a seventh rounder, former undrafted free agent and current UDFA competing to back him up. It goes without saying that if Ryan goes down, this team is screwed, but that describes most teams.

There's a chance the Falcons will elect to bring aboard a veteran, so weigh that in your projections. Here's mine.

Projected Depth Chart

QB Matt Ryan: 400-600, 4,700 yards, 66% completion percentage, 7.8 yards per attempt, 30 touchdowns, 14 INTs
QB Sean Renfree: NO STATS

Project away, my friends, and be sure to account for injuries and any other factors you feel are relevant.
