The pressure mounted. Dave was called names. Questions were asked. "Will Freeman ever sign with Atlanta? He was drafted nearly 20 days ago." "Will he refuse to sign entirely and hold out in next year like Bo Jackson?" "Is this part of the offseason so dead that the Falcoholic will inject fake pressure into anything?"
Finally. This saga is over.

The Atlanta Falcons website helped provide a little info now that we can live in peace.
The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have agreed to terms with running back Devonta Freeman. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Freeman, 5-8, 206 pounds, was selected by the Falcons in the fourth round (103rd overall) in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Freeman should make just about as much as last years 103rd overall selection, Alex Okafor, so probably a bit under 4 years, $2.65 million.
The small-ish back looks to get a healthy number of snaps his rookie year behind lead back Steven Jackson, but remains a pretty solid bet to get more than Antone's Smith projected five offensive snaps in 2014.
