2014 NFL Draft: 30 Prospects Invited To Attend First Day

A few may fall into the second or even third rounds.

Sean Gardner

The NFL has invited a record 30 prospects to the 2014 NFL Draft, ensuring additional drama during one of the league's most popular events.

Joining obvious choices like Jadeveon Clowney, Khalil Mack, Johnny Manziel and Sammy Watkins are players like Odell Beckham, Kony Ealy and Jimmy Garappolo who may not come off the board until the second round. If I were a cynic, I'd suggest that the only reason to invite players who only have an outside chance of landing in the first round is to give viewers someone to root for once the inevitable draft day slide happens.

Either way, there'll be plenty of prospects on hand for the first round, if not the second and third. You can find a full list at NFL.com.
