In a morning of prospect visit updates—and an appreciative hat tip toward Alec Shirkey and Jeanna Thomas for covering those—the name Jadeveon Clowney still stands out.
At his South Carolina pro day Wednesday, where he looked supremely confident and athletic, Clowney told reporters he would be visiting with at least two teams:
Jadeveon Clowney says #Falcons contacted him to setup a workout. Also Rams will be his first work out, from Cunningham who's in Columbia.

This isn't particularly surprising. Clowney has been firmly on the team's radar for a while now, and nothing during his pro day convinces me that he's going to move down on any team's draft board. The chances of winding up with Clowney are slim at six, but if you're the Falcons, you want to take a closer look and consider what it would take to get him.
Clowney joins Jake Matthews, Greg Robinson and Anthony Barr as possible top ten players who have or will visit the team and could be options for the Falcons in the first round.
