Hat tip goes to reader Vebrand, who suggested that we solicit reader input for a surprise pick in the middle rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft. Henceforth, we will refer to that draft pick as a Thomas Dimitroff Special.
If you're confused, consider this: The Falcons have made a habit of selecting players in the third and fourth rounds who many analysts and fans consider reaches. The two most famous examples are probably Corey Peters, a surprise third round pick who has exceeded his draft status, and Lamar Holmes, another surprise third round pick who hasn't panned out just yet. Chris Owens was widely considered a surprise selection in the third round, as well, as was Akeem Dent.
So let's turn it over to you. Do you see a surprise in this year's third round, and if so, do you have a player in mind?
