News of players the Atlanta Falcons have met with has been sparse, to put it euphemistically. To put it bluntly, their interviews seem to be more closely guarded than Area 51. At least Wikileaks will occasionally release government secrets but no one releases information about the Falcons.
What we have been able to discern from Russian satellite photos Walter Football, the Falcons have met with three different prospects this offseason.
Two things to notice here.
First, Atlanta met with Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson.
I don't particularly want Atlanta to take Robinson in the first round, and he may not be available, but he is a special talent. According to a sourced tweet, some scouts have given Robinson some pretty favorable comparisons.
After watching Auburn OT Greg Robinson, some NFL scouts have compared him to former Cowboys Hall-of-Fame Larry Allen.

Robinson had a great combine, displaying crazy size and athleticism in Indianapolis. He was even considered one of the "biggest winners" there.
He weighed in at 332 pounds, but still managed to run a 4.92-second 40-yard dash. That included a time of 1.68 seconds in the first 10 yards, a telling number for an offensive lineman's explosiveness. He tested out well in the other drills and shined in the position drills.
Robinson looks like the real deal and would be a great addition to Atlanta. It is good to see Atlanta doesn't appear to be dead-set on one player or position and the team is doing their due diligence on plenty of top players.
Second, Atlanta is looking at positions of need.
One of the reasons I'm not so hot on Robinson is because the right guard has been a position of unending agony. Well good news, the Falcons met with Rutgers guard Antwan Lowery at the East-West Shrine game. A late round pick with a poor senior season who ballooned up to 355 pounds, Lowery has some upside but remains a likely depth selection.
Falcons also met with West Virginia running back Charles Sims back at the Senior Bowl. How this information was released I cannot be sure but I wish for nothing but the best of health for the one who let this slip. The projected mid-round back hits right in the sweet spot of value of need, and has been compared to Matt Forte. It has been a long time since Atlanta had some fresh legs on a pass-catching back that can play all three downs.
This feels like a small sample size to project too much, and to be honest Atlanta could improve at just about every position, but this feels like good news to me.
