The Falcons started the game strong offensively, but the wheels seem to have come off over the course of the remainder of the first half, and the Falcons trail the Packers 31-7. The Falcons have, as many expected, had difficulty keeping Green Bay's high-powered offense in check, and while the Falcons did get into position to attempt a Matt Bryant field goal to end the half, it was blocked.
If the Falcons want to get things under control, the offense is going to have to minimize mistakes and keep moving the chains. If the defense could just miss fewer tackles, that would help quite a bit on that side of the ball. Atlanta does get the ball to start the second half, so that's something.
Weigh in on the second half in the comments.
