With two important divisional games on the horizon and the postseason on the line, everyone wants to know the status of Atlanta's injured players and when they're expected to be ready to hit the field. Head coach Mike Smith provided some injury updates in Monday's press conference.

Cornerback Robert Alford, who has been out for the past few weeks with a broken wrist, will undergo surgery and will be placed on injured reserve. Smith did not confirm if Robert McClain will continue to start in Alford's place.

After yesterday's offensive performance contrasted with what Julio Jones had been able to do the previous two weeks, everyone wants to know when Julio will be healthy enough to contribute. Smith once again emphasized that he is confident that Julio will be ready to play on Sunday, but also said that Jones is about the same as yesterday in terms of his injury status. We'll keep you updated throughout the week as the team provides updates on Julio's status.

William Moore was unable to play yesterday, and Smith said that Moore is still undergoing treatment for the foot injury he suffered against the Packers last week. Moore is day-to-day at this point, as is Jonathan Asamoah, who suffered a back injury in yesterday's game. Both Moore and Asamoah will undergo treatment this week, and we'll have an update on their respective statuses when the injury report is released on Wednesday.
