It isn't difficult to answer with "Truuuuuuu", when asked who the best player on the Falcons' defense actually is. Desmond is a star in Atlanta, and everyone but the media and your average NFL fan knows about him.
After shadowing Kelvin Benjamin and recording a pick, Trufant should continue improving his play with pass rushing threat Jonathan Massaquoi finally returning from injury. The Falcons have lost Robert Alford to a broken wrist, and will heavily rely on Trufant to uncover his long-lost playmaking gene and continue his quality coverage.
Cleveland's top weapon in Josh Gordon will be returning, and like last week with Benjamin, I fully expect Trufant to be around him for a better part of the day. Mike Smith may be a tad incompetent at times, but I can't see him not using one of the best cover corners on one of the best wideouts in the game.
