In one of the uglier games you'll see this season, the Falcons eked one out over the Carolina Panthers, their seventh loss of the season. The mood around these parts isn't jubilant, but it is happy.
Here's another bright spot:
Big congrats to @roddywhiteTV, who has surpassed 10,000 career receiving yards! #RiseUp pic.twitter.com/ZeZNXyXn7h

White will go down as the greatest receiver in Falcons history, though Julio Jones obviously has a chance to challenge that designation going forward, and with eight catches for 75 yards, he was Matt Ryan's most reliable target on the day. He deserves most every accolade you can throw at him, struggles in the first half of the year aside.
Congratulations to Roddy White. May he have many more productive games ahead for this team, no matter how many things change in 2015 and beyond.
