Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is sidelined for the season after rupturing his Achilles tendon last June, but that hasn't stopped him from actively working to benefit the community.
On Monday, October 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Spoon will host the Giving Back 2 Atlanta Bowling Classic at Stars and Strikes Entertainment Center in the Lawrenceville/Dacula area. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program. There will be bowling, games, pizza and a silent auction, all for a wonderful cause.
The cost for individual bowlers is $40, or $200 to register a team of up to six bowlers. That cost includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, an event shirt and bag, a wrist band, one session of laser tag, one session of bumper cars, a $5 game card, one pizza per lane, and a pitcher of soda. You can also spring for a VIP experience for $70 per bowler or $350 for a team of up to six bowlers. This cost includes all of the items included with the regular admission package, as well as an autograph and a signed photo. If you'd just like to go and watch, you can register as a spectator for $20. For that cost, spectators will receive an event shirt, event bag, a wrist band, and access to the silent auction.
Breast cancer survivors and children under 10 can register for the event for free on the registration page.
If you would like to register for the event, visit the Giving Back 2 Atlanta Bowling Classic website. For more information on the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program, visit their website.
