If you were expecting Roddy White to make a ton of catches last week, you probably had a bad time. It's funny how one week can change so many people's opinion on one of the most consistent players this franchise has ever had. Roddy was out of rhythm against Minnesota, but don't expect him to stay that way.
Roddy isn't the type of player to let a few dropped passes haunt him. According to ESPN's Vaughn McClure, White is fairly confident in his ability to come back this weekend. It's an easy thing to expect when you've got Julio Jones garnering a majority of the eleven men on defense, and a quarterback named Matt Ryan making smart decisions under center.
The New York Giants are the opposition this weekend, and have recently hit their stride. With that being said, this is the painfully inconsistent New York Giants team that has allowed the 11th-most passing yards this season. I'd say Roddy should rebound here.
Will Roddy's play be essential in today's match-up?
