The Falcons' Statistical Pace Through Eight Games of the 2014 Season

New, comments

Eight games into the season, what are the Falcons' top performers on pace for in terms of statistical output?

Steve Flynn-USA TODAY Sports

You may recall that we did this exercise at the quarter season mark, when the Falcons looked to be on their way to some pretty terrific numbers on offense and some pretty atrocious ones on defense. That has started to even out, in both cases.

The offense is coming down to earth a bit thanks to attrition on the offensive line, chiefly. The defense has been making real if small strides, and the incredibly low sack total and incredibly high passing yardage figures to move toward

Given those trend lines, these projections may not come close to being accurate, but it's fun to look ahead. Let us know where you'd tweak these, if you had your druthers.
