The Falcons' Jay Adams has some good news from London this morning, particularly for those of us who would like the offense to start humming along again like the Falcons of old:
Rejoice, fans! Harry Douglas returns to the practice field, making progress with foot injury: http://t.co/DhoyF9ERHz #UKFalcons
— Jay Adams (@FalconsJAdams) October 23, 2014
Getting Douglas back is no panacea for a passing attack that is suffering thanks to an injured, depleted offensive line, but he should help. The Falcons without Douglas have essentially been down to Julio Jones and sporadically useful Devin Hester and Roddy White, so one more option in the passing game can only improve Matt Ryan's fortunes.
This doesn't guarantee Douglas is going to play, obviously, but it's at least a step in that direction. We need a little something to feel optimistic about at the moment.
The full injury report will land later today, so keep an eye out for that. Your thoughts?
