One Falcon To Watch In Week 7: Mike Smith

Smitty occasionally shows emotion on the sideline, but it's often anger.

Kevin C. Cox

So, if you haven't heard, Mike Smith isn't in the coolest of seats right now.  As you are reading this, Mike Smith is most likely thinking that if he doesn't turn this boat around quick, his time in Atlanta is quickly coming to an end.

There are a lot of reasons to be angry at Mike Smith.  Whether it's Antone Smith being removed from games after scoring touchdowns, or the defense looking like your nephew's Pop Warner team, take your pick.  Seeing how Coach Smith decides to lead this team today will give us insight on his future with the organization.

The Ravens will be no easy task, and especially so in Baltimore.  With the Ravens' 5th best scoring offense and 3rd best scoring defense, the cards dealt to Smith really couldn't have come at a worse time.  I'm truly not optimistic, but I will warmly welcome any surprises the Falcons happen to throw at me.  It's up to Smitty to give us hope.

Will another loss this week solidify the future firing of Coach Smith?
