Are You Hoping For Snow At The Super Bowl?

Will the game be more interesting with snow?

Tom Dahlin

Obviously many of you have been dealing with the effects of the snowstorm in Atlanta. My thoughts are with all of you, and I hope you're safe and well.

I want to talk about snow is a more pleasant context today. Do you want to see snow at the Super Bowl, and if so, why? I would, because snow football is invariably awesome, but your mileage may vary. When I think of some of the truly legendary games in the history of the NFL—the 2002 AFC Championship Game, the Snow Plow game—they involve a treacherous field and snow. That's hardly a scientific study that proves football is better in the snow, but damnit, it's good enough for me.

So discuss. Snow, or no snow?
