"D-Block" Is Back And Better Than Ever

Willy Mo is back, and guess what: HE'S STILL READY!!

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

You read that headline right: the hit web show "D-Block," hosted by the linebackers of your 2013 Atlanta Falcons, has returned for its third season.

If you've seen it before, you know what a treat the team has on its hands. If you haven't, do yourself a favor, head over to the mothership at atlantafalcons.com and check it out.

Highlights from this week include:

  • William Moore freestyling (we think)
  • Sean Weatherspoon hosting his first episode
  • Osi Umenyiora talking about his appearance on MTV's "Cribs" and his favorite movies
  • Joplo Bartu and Paul Worrilow sitting in awkward silence

Veteran watchers would know that rookies aren't allowed to talk on the show, which may be a slight issue for the show going forward seeing that two of Atlanta's five linebackers are UDFAs. In years past, Mike Peterson was the de facto host of the show. But now that he has returned to his alma mater of Florida to finish his last few requirements for a college degree and also serve as an undergraduate assistant coach. Good for Mo Pete.

As for D-Block, we'll roll through 2013 relying on Weatherspoon, Stephen Nicholas and Akeem Dent to guide us through the locker room, teach us a few things we don't know and hopefully ignite more Falcons-related music productions. Vishnu knows more NFL teams need to do this.
