Asante Samuel is out for this game. That leg injury just won't go away, apparently.
Today's Falcons inactives: CB Samuel, S Ishmael, RB Jackson, LB Chaney, G Gunn, T Schraeder, DT Robertson #NEvsATL

That leaves the Falcons facing up against a Patriots passing offense minus Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski. Thankfully, Desmond Trufant and Robert Alford have played well all season long. Unfortunately, Robert McClain has not. This is still a matchup the Falcons should be able to win.
At this point, I'd like to see Samuel sitting out until he's completely healthy. They're gaining nothing by letting him play a handful of snaps each week before leaving again.
It's nearly gametime!
