That helps to explain why the Falcons dropped from 9 to 14 in the latest edition of the SBN power rankings. Close losses and injuries will drop you every time, but at least they didn't plummet nine spots like the Niners.
It's just power rankings, but I wouldn't mind seeing a rebound thanks to a convincing win over the Patriots. Your thoughts?
