The Falcoholic expert picks: Week 3

Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIRE

The Falcons held on for their first win of the season in Week 2, which might have been the result of all of us picking them to defeat the Rams. Let's try it again.

Atlanta is the favorite across the board in our picks this week. It should be a close game the whole way. Unfortunately, some of the primetime games ahead aren't looking too appealing. Seriously, who decided on the Raiders going to Denver for Monday Night Football?

Alec currently holds a one-game lead over the field. Dave is in last, picking up where he left off in 2012. Here are our picks for Week 3.

Along with Atlanta, everyone agrees on New England, Chicago and Denver. The Raiders are terrible. The Steelers can't figure out what they're doing. Those games seem like locks to me.

The Buccaneers could give the Patriots a run for their money, but the Schiano train is derailing fast. We'll see if Josh Freeman can pull it together. Also, Carl Nicks hopes he can return this weekend, which helps all around. Can Tom Brady manage with his crew of backups again?

I was the only one to pick the Chiefs for Thursday Night Football. The Eagles defense is terrible. If Eddie Royal can catch three touchdown passes against that unit, what will Dwayne Bowe do? It comes down to Kansas City's defense, though, and how it fares against Chip Kelly's up-tempo offense.

We were split on the Cardinals-Saints matchup. New Orleans does look better on defense (wouldn't mind if that stops), and obviously they play better in the Superdome. It won't be a surprise to see this game go either way.

Who wins in Week 3?

Note: Carolina was not intentionally left out. I just forgot. Whoops.
