This is that magical time of year when every rookie and UDFA on the roster has some shot of making the final roster, or at least a strong belief that they'll be the one to rise above the pack and achieve most glorious rostertude.
It's also the time of year when sportswriters, scouts and coaches like to do a slow waltz around one particular UDFA. Browsing RotoWorld this morning, you can get a glimpse of this, with the Packers talking about UDFA RB Angelo Pease, a former scout raving about a seventh-round Bears receiver Marquess Wilson and Matt Barkley continuing to get that sweet, sweet newsprint love.
It's only a matter of time before a scout or Falcons coach talks up one of the guys on the roster, whether it be someone like Malliciah Goodman or a UDFA like Paul Worrilow at linebacker. When that happens, that guy will get an extra share of the spotlight for a while, and the pressure that comes with it.
Who do you think is impressing early, and how long until we see that glowing feature?
