Osi Umenyiora Bringing More Than Just Rings To Atlanta

Osi's off-the-field personality is not how he approaches the game on-the-field, and the young players are following his example.

Nice story over at the mothership. Osi has come in and provided a nice example to other players, and they're responding to it.

We have beaten this horse many a time, but this is just another example of the kind of player the Falcons want. Far as I know, he didn't have the best reputation, for reasons I can't recall. That being said, here he is being one of the first guys in, as well as being helpful to the younger guys.

I can tell you this right here and now. If there's even the slightest chance Richard Seymour is going to be a jerk, he will not wear the red and black this year, I don't care where he's from.

I look forward to seeing Osi this season. Hopefully he boosts a pass rush that has been, for lack of a better term, missing at times.

He's also helped players from different positions, which is always nice to see. Much like Asante helped Matty get away from some of his bad habits, I imagine a veteran like Osi will have some nice tips for players not just at defensive line, but other defensive positions.
