Terry Robiskie has been the Falcons' receivers coach for the last five season now. You can quibble with how the Falcons have developed some of their receivers, but it's tough to argue that Robiskie has done anything less than a masterful job of working with Roddy White and Julio Jones.
Highly respected for his work, Robiskie was eventually going to get a crack at an offensive coordinator job elsewhere, at minimum. The Falcons have taken a step to ensure he won't be poached by another team by promoting him to assistant head coach.
As a veteran coach with a quality offensive mind, Robiskie has been an integral part of this staff, valued by Mike Mularkey and Dirk Koetter alike. Mike Smith knows that:
Coach Mike Smith says Robiskie, entering his sixth season with the team's receivers, has played a key role in Atlanta's five straight winning seasons.
I'm always in favor of keeping good coaches around, and I'd like to congratulate Robiskie. Your thoughts?
