Every analyst in the world has made a prediction for who the Atlanta Falcons will select with the No. 30 overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft. Surely it wears thin on the audience reading the multitude of ever-changing opinions. Well, it's time to hear what the most credible source in the world has to say on the topic at hand.
Naturally, we turned to Twitter.
Yesterday, Dave and I asked who you thought would be the Falcons first pick in 2013. Let's take a look at the different approaches people are taking, which are all completely plausible and in no way obscure at all.
@thefalcoholic @alex__welch Trade back with Bills. Take Zach Ertz, gain another 4th rounder
— Robert Gresham (@Atlantabuzz81) April 24, 2013
The tight end approach.
@thefalcoholic @alex__welch I don't think TD even knows yet-I think we could equally go DB, TE, or pass rusher, depending on how things fall
— Howie Espenshied (@hespenshied) April 24, 2013
The "who knows?" approach.
@thefalcoholic @alex__welch I say truant ...followed by contract reneg. w Ryan and a resigning of Abe
— Rick Morris (@Rickmorris708) April 24, 2013
The hit em' at all angles approach. Bold.
@thefalcoholic @alex__welch Trading up for Rhodes, Trufant or Taylor.
— Aloïs (@AloisVanish) April 24, 2013
The cheater approach because I SAID WHICH PLAYER NOT CHOOSE YOUR TOP THREE OPTIONS.
DJ Hayden. RT @thefalcoholic: Alright, guys, we're almost to the draft. Hit me. Who are the Falcons drafting in the first? @alex__welch
— Aaron Freeman (@falcfans) April 24, 2013
The logical approach (based on current rumors, info, etc.)
@thefalcoholic @alex__welch Move up and take Jarvis Jones
— Kyle NeeSmith (@kyleneesmith) April 24, 2013
The Dawg/stickin' it to the Saints approach.
@alex__welch The play 60 kid
— Justin Deese (@Justin_Deese) April 24, 2013
The up-and-comer approach.
@alex__welch can we draft the guy in the background here? He looks legit. thefalcoholic.com
— Jeanna (@jeannathomas) April 24, 2013
The Nordstrom model approach (see: yesterday's front page if that's even possible).
@alex__welch Marsupial MacDavis from North South State Tech would be my choice.
— Nolan Johnson (@Gdawgs755) April 24, 2013
The Manti Te'o fake person approach.
@alex__welch Tebow
— David Gagne (@davidkgagne) April 24, 2013
The "if God is for us, who can be against us?" approach.
@alex__welch Dion Jordan at 6.
— Tyler Lessard (@tclessard) April 24, 2013
The makin' front page headlines approach.
@alex__welch Frederick McDougal.
— Jay Adams (@FalconsJAdams) April 24, 2013
The "create-a-player" approach.
Thanks to everyone who tweeted in responses. If you didn't make the cut, there's always next year or something! Which approach to the draft is the most logical in your eyes?
