Thomas Decoud was having a pretty solid game yesterday, but then he suffered a head injury and exited the game. It seemed like a concussion at the time, and now the Falcons have confirmed it:
Coach Smith says Thomas DeCoud had a concussion yesterday and is going through league protocol. #ATLvsGB

There's no word on how severe the concussion is, so we're left to wait for further news. DeCoud could conceivably be back on the field against Washington, or he could miss a couple of weeks. In the midst of a lost season for both DeCoud and the team, there's no rush. Concussions need time, and the most important thing is his health going forward. Zeke Motta filled in ably and will do so as long as DeCoud's out.
DeCoud has 58 tackles and two pass deflections on the season.
