The Atlanta Falcons could use a healthy, effective Sean Weatherspoon in their final game against the Carolina Panthers. Win or lose, you want the last game of the season to be a competitive one, and every injury decreases the likelihood that will happen.
'Spoon is dealing with a knee injury right now and seems increasingly likely to miss Week 17. The team will get one last chance to evaluate its young players for the season, and with 'Spoon out, certainly we can expect Joplo Bartu and Paul Worrilow to get plenty of chances.
No sign of Sean Weatherspoon (knee) during open period of practice. Tony Gonzalez (toe), Darius Johnson (ankle) on the field with helmets.

Jacquizz Rodgers is still dealing with his concussion, too. We're almost done with this season, but let's hope both those guys are healthy and ready to go for one last hurrah.
