Redskins vs. Falcons: a Tweet Recap

Yesterday's game was alternately a glimpse of what the 2013 Falcons could have been, a spotlight on what the 2013 Falcons actually are, and a comedy of errors.

Scott Cunningham

So, how about that game yesterday? it was a win that barely felt like a win. It was hilarious, and infuriating. It was generally emblematic of the Falcons' 2013 season. Create seven turnovers and beat arguably the very worst team in the NFL by just one point? Fun times.

I can't lie, this would have been pretty funny.

This is festive and hilarious.

If you were watching the game at home, I'm sorry you had to listen to Heath Evans.

At times, the team looked fantastic.

Steven Jackson completely destroyed Redskins' cornerback Josh Wilson.

Atlanta's defense was incredibly opportunistic against Washington.

Malliciah Goodman, bless your heart.

The punt coverage unit had an opportunity to take advantage of a turnover, too.

These are all really good questions.

And some good answers to good questions.

This was true and also unfortunate.

Turnovers on turnovers on turnovers.

Mostly, the Falcons looked like the Falcons have looked all season.

And, frankly, the Redskins mostly looked terrible, too.

Jason LaCanfora needs to settle down.

Please turn off the television, ma'am, and we thank you in advance for your noble sacrifice.

It was a Festivus miracle.

Tony Gonzalez is the greatest tight end of all time.

Willy Mo always ready, most of the time.

We haven't forgotten your shenanigans, DeAngelo Hall.

If there's one bright spot in this dismal season, it's the development of young players.

Another bright spot would be Matt Bosher.

Are y'all hungry?

We should have been doing this all along.

This is how we all felt, man. "!!!!!!?" indeed.

Some final thoughts on yesterday's game...
